Based on Psalm 98:4 and Psalm 100:1, this text comes to life through the use of syncopation and an exciting minor melody. The melody and rhythm move energetically throughout the piece creating a spirit of joy and celebration. The optional bass part makes the anthem perfect for use with middle school or high school choirs. An edition for unison/two part voices is also available (CGA1004).

This anthem is ... well ... JOYFUL! It's quite easy to learn and begins to sound good almost immediately. Students pick up on syncopation without any hesitation and begin to assimilate the rhythms, melody, and harmonies in mere minutes from the time you begin.
This is an excellent anthem for a beginning choir ... actually a super place to begin in your very first rehearsal. It is also very effective and usable for the more established choir which needs to add repertoire that can be learned and memorized in record time.

This is a great call to worship. My youth choir loved singing it and they learned it very quickly. We used it for a variety of occasions and it became one that we could just "pull out" for any occasion.
