A top selling anthem. Commissioned by a church in Sioux City, Iowa, which was forced to relocate due to flooding, this lyrical anthem speaks of God’s presence with us in times of hardship. A wonderful musical expression of comfort and courage for confirmation, child baptism or dedication, or any time you wish to convey the love of God through Isaiah’s words of redemption. Isaiah 43:1-4

Crystal melody, biblical text with a promise, movie-score-like accompaniment, although not overdone, and gorgeous harmonies. Soprano descant optional on last "stanza." Beautiful, free melodic lines which soar. A consummate student choir anthem, but not limited to youth choirs. It is equally effective with adults!
Selected for the 2013 Labor Day at the Cathedral (for adult singers), Craig will be conducting five of his own compositions, this being one. As beautiful as this setting is, it is highly exciting to think of the sound of 200 adults singing this anthem in the National Cathedral with full orchestra and the composer conducting.
