This is a fine arrangement of a Christmas classic that is just different enough to be fresh. It allows the advanced choir to make some exciting music while the moderately experienced choir can successfully stretch their skills and produce a good result. Audiences will be engaged from the first note of the big piano introduction of this beloved Christmas song which would make an excellent concert closer. You will need an expressive accompanist for best results, and work to not let the tempo plod. This should have a feeling of movement throughout.
The Bottom Line
