In times of grief and sorrow, God's love, peace, and mercy act to sustain us during our losses. This SATB anthem, based on an excerpt in Jeremiah, reflects that message through song.

At times when comfort and reassurance are needed, this lovely setting of Jeremiah 29:11 is an excellent choice. This anthem is accessible for most choirs, but this reviewer's experience is that it tends to plod unless the director keeps the forward motion of the piece intact.
The Bottom Line
Pros
This is a beautiful piece for any time there is a need for comfort.
Cons
Guard against dragging the tempo as is the case on the publisher's recording.
