One of my favorites for Christmas concerts and Advent worship. Simple, gentle, lovely, and beautiful. I actually prefer baritone or mezzo soprano soloist for a warmer, richer sound. There are many ways to make this anthem special in the congregation: having children and/or youth participate in one of the sections being just one of many ideas. This anthem wears well and becomes a favorite very quickly.
