Not enough good things can be said about this anthem with students. Once the teenagers conquer the notes and rhythms, this will likely become one of their favorite anthems. Highly rhythmic and totally energetic, there are so many nuances which can be added within the dances phrases. Students will take great pride in singing this classic. It still dances off the page. Accompanist must be right on target.

The Bottom Line

Pros
In order to sing correct pitches at his wthe right time, you must sing correctly
Cons
Sometimes takes teenagers a while to own it. Begin very slowly.
