In 30 years of use with this piece, I have NEVER seen it NOT work! This is a timeless classic for young voices. Psalm 139, which is a text every teenagers needs to internalize. This has been such a powerful piece and so dearly loved that it has been used at student's weddings, family funerals, and other special occasions, aside from the obvious times in worship which bring the anthem to the place it is so beloved to those who sing it. Don't let the copyright date send you away from this piece. Your students TODAY will gravitate to it and want to sing it every time you are together.
