Very nice old hymn tune treated with class and elegance. Flowing accompaniment helps keeps phrases energized and moving forward. In my opinion, this selection is best sung at a dynamic level never to exceed mezzo forte, sung with warmth, energy, and passion. The selection of a good tempo is absolutely key ... too slowly and it will drag and die, to quickly and it will lose its warmth and gentleness. Young singers will enjoy this selection as will older ones, as well.
The Bottom Line
