This powerful anthem lasts only 90 seconds, but it is highly dramatic and effective either as a part of liturgy or in a concert setting. Almost any youth choir can conquer this anthem if the director will take it apart piece by piece, section by section and teach the pathos of the piece as well as the notes and rhythms. Without choral drama and color, the anthem may never fly, but when its emotion is communicated, it will soar!
