Students tends to eat this anthem like candy. Once conquered, the student choir is anxious to give its full energy to making this piece dance. Shifting meters keeps the music "on its toes" at all times, keeping the energy flowing from beginning to end. Again, the accompanist is key to success.

Selected for the 2014 Labor Day at the Cathedral (for adult singers), this anthem will be sung by 200 adults in the National Cathedral with full orchestra.

The Bottom Line

Pros
Enjoyable, challenging, and downright fun!

Works better with choirs that can put out a lot of sound. This is a standard American choral work. fun to sing, fun to learn, audiences enjoy it.
