Hal Hopson has again provided us yet another excellent and exciting adaptation of a classic for young voices. Although enjoyed by adult voices as well, this anthem dances off the page with student voices. Hal Hopson is so knowledgeable of the young voice that his adaptations are flawless in providing appropriate ranges and beautiful vowels for the encouragement of proper singing technique.
This anthem fits beautifully in worship services as well as in concert settings. Any singer who learns and memorizes this anthem will come away with a new appreciation of good choral music across the ages. Thank you Hal, for your continued work in providing us such fine resources for choral teaching and singing!
