The text of this piece is based on Psalm 96 and is combined with an arrangement of a Bach movement from Cantata BWV 207a. It is truly a jubilant setting of a classic that is suitable for any level choir.

Hal Hopson has again provided us yet another excellent and exciting adaptation of a classic for young voices, this time for SAB voicing. Although enjoyed by adult voices as well, this anthem dances off the page with student voices. Hal Hopson is so knowledgeable of the young voice that his adaptations are flawless in providing appropriate ranges and beautiful vowels for the encouragement of proper singing technique.
This anthem fits beautifully in worship services as well as in concert settings. Any singer who learns and memorizes this anthem will come away with a new appreciation of good choral music across the ages.
