This fresh rhythmic arrangement of this well-known song will be a nicely unexpected treatment for your listeners. The few spots where text was altered, interrupting the traditional rhyme scheme would be easily returned to the original by this reviewer. This piece is appropriate for any choir, but will especially be useful for the developing choir with a little experienced in stand-alone section independence.

The Bottom Line

Pros
Nice, fresh arrangement of a familiar folk song.
Cons
In a few spots, the well-known, traditional text was altered without changing the meaning but disrupting the traditional rhyming scheme.
