The traditional Latin text and carefully crafted vocal textures create this beautifully expressive harmonic setting in 3/4 meter. A very strong choice for concert or festival, it may be performed with keyboard only or with optional strings and brass. Highly recommended!

This would be a good first Latin experience for a young choir, and with the use of open-score notation and easy balanced part-writing, this anthem is a good tool for moving the somewhat experienced choir to the next skill level. The text makes it usable for both Easter and possibly Christmas. "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest."
The Bottom Line
Pros
Written in open score, there are some nice, teachable elements to take a young choir to the next level.
