This traditional Palm Sunday anthem is given a festive treatment in this energetic and well-crafted arrangement. The piece alternates between exciting driving rhythms and a contrasting lyrical section with the choir supported by the piano throughout. Upbeat and joyful!

This traditional Palm Sunday hymn is brought to new life with this exciting anthem. Rhythmically challenging, but doable, it passes through meter changes in a way that seem natural. Written primarily in 6/8 meter, it moves from compound feel to a 3/4 feel and back without an official meter change, but with an occasional 2/4 & 4/4 actual meter change thrown in here or there. This rhythmically exciting section is contrasted by a slower more lyric section, then returns to recap the original rhythmic treatment.
The experienced choir of any age level (youth through adult) will absolutely love this original, yet familiar hymn treatment. It will be requested for Palm Sunday year after year.
