This 20th-century hymn is useful for so many occasions during the church year including Epiphany, Transfiguration, discipleship, and Advent. It is rich with scriptural references and set for SATB voices, piano, and solo trumpet in a straightforward and effective manner. Mark Hayes' creativity shines forth as he paints the text in unique and meaningful ways. Inspiring!

This fine hymn by Kathleen Tomerson is beautifully set by Mark Hayes with his usual flare for accompaniments, using piano and solo trumpet. Good transitions, excellent text, and strong choral writing make this a piece for most choirs and concert settings as well as worship.
