This Communion original by Joel Raney speaks through the voice of Christ saying, "Come and follow me; my life I give so you may live." Useful for any Communion service, it is particularly effective during the season of Lent and Holy Week as it builds to the scene at Calvary. Choirs will appreciate the melodic lines and the intensity that builds before finally returning to the key phrase, "think of me and remember."

This beautiful text, told from the point of view of Christ, admonishes us to take an inward look as we partake of the Communion elements. The piece flows gently and supports the text with strong part-writing and a nice piano accompaniment or orchestra parts. This will be not only perfect for Communion, but it will fit nicely into a solemn Maundy Thursday service. You need this piece in your choral library.
