With a text adapted from Psalm 95 and 96, here is a powerful rhythmic setting for SATB choir, piano, and optional trumpet. The theme of worshiping before God makes this a useful anthem anytime of the year, and especially for festive occasions. The subtle change in meter creates easily learned word patterns and heightens the overall energetic impact.

This festive piece comes to life when performed faster than the indicated tempo of 116/min. This reviewer suggests a quicker click, closer to 150/min. That simple tempo change enables this piece to be far more celebratory, would best communicate the syncopation, and would keep this nice anthem from plodding. The optional trumpet part adds to the character, and it would be a fine way to feature a skilled trumpet player from the church. This is a good anthem choice as a concert opener for choirs from youth to adult that are used to syncopation and meter changes. Highly recommended (at the faster tempo).
The Bottom Line
Pros
Festive and celebratory anthem from Psalm 95 & 96
Cons
The tempo indicated (and on the sample recording) is slower than would be enjoyable for singers and audiences.
