This anthem is a sure favorite for youth and contains a good deal of rhythmic and melodic interest. In a minor tonality, the melody is actually Mixoydian (lowered 7th), which provided a folk flavor. The piano accompaniment is super supportive in the style department, and the flute part adds even more interest to this nice up-beat piece appropriate for general worship, communion, Unity Sunday, or any ecumenical service.
