Don't let the 2-pt mixed voicing fool you. It is not a children's anthem at all, but it is a quickly taught/easily memorized benediction that can easily become your choir's traditional "goodbye" piece for members of the group that are leaving and/or a closing benediction the congregation could easily learn for a concert or worship service closer.
This reviewer would have over-looked this gem entirely because of its voicing if not for a colleague who mentioned recommendations for specific uses and piqued curiosity. From youngest to oldest choirs, it can become a perennial favorite. Ambitious directors might pen an alto part suited to their specific choirs.
